Meet Our Staff

  Regardless of what has brought you to our office the first impressions you get will be made by my devoted staff. They are the what makes us tick and I am extremely confident that you will be warmly received and impressed by their efficiency. Below is a brief introduction to them and a description of their duties. We work very much as a team though so you may see anyone pitching in where needed. Pictured from left to right are:



Donna DeBie-Registered Dental Hygienist
 Donna has worked in the field of dentistry for thirty four years and has been with our office for the last five years. Donna's gentle demeanor immediately puts patients at ease and makes her a natural for what she does best, making your mouth sparkling clean. Donna graduated from Guilderland High School and received her associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College. She enjoys yoga, gardening ,cooking, her cat Clark and  Sheltie Joey. She has three grown children, Samantha, Erica and Alissa and a one year old grand daughter Shae.

Suzanne Young-Regstered Dental Hygienist
 Suzanne grew up in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. and graduated from John Jay H.S. She earned her first associates degree from Dutchess Co.Community College and worked as a dental assistant for five years before returning to earn a second associates degree at Orange Co.Community College and becoming a dental hygienist. She has been working in dentistry for twenty five years. Suzanne's bubbly personality is infectious and she has garnered a long list of devoted patients in her twenty years with our office. She and her husband John have two beautiful high school aged girls, Shannon and Megan and an Australian Shepherd named Sydney. Aside from watching her girls participate in track, lacrosse and soccer Suzanne enjoys their family beach vacations, skiing and reading.

Judy Zelenewych-Registered Dental Hygienist  
 Judy graduated from Guilderland High School and Hudson Valley Community College and has been in the field of dentistry for thirty two years. She has proven to be a quick learner with an equally quick wit and a wonderful addition to our staff in the almost two years she has been with us. Judy enjoys reading, quilting and scrap booking, but her passion is agility training her Border Collies. She and her husband Nick reside in Rotterdam, N.Y. 

Anne Cardany-Dental Assistant 
 Annie graduated from Burt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and has been a dental assistant for twenty eight years. She has been with us for the last nine years and has a following all of her own. Annie is primarily Dr. Gold's assistant but she can often be observed helping out anywhere in the office. She's the consummate team player. She and her husband John are the proud parents of son Ryan, a middle schooler and daughter Sara who is an aspiring Pop Warner cheer leader. Annie is an avid exerciser who is very involved with the PTA and also enjoys crafts.

Deborah Stefaniak-Receptionist,Appointment and Accounts Manager
 Debbie is the voice you hear when contacting us and the smiling face that greets you  when entering our office. She graduated from Mohonasen High School in Rotterdam,N.Y. and began as an assistant, then moved on to the business end of our practice. Debbie has been with us for nineteen of her twenty three years in dentistry. Also the consummate team player, Deb is truly a jack of all trades. She covers all of the duties at the front desk as well as several of the unseen but critical tasks elsewhere in the office. She can even pitch as an assistant when needed. She and her husband Douglas reside in Schenectady with their boys Doug 14 and Donald 12. Debbie's hobbies include reading, knitting, crafts and baking. 




 Dr. Gold grew up in Schenectady in the same building where his office is. He graduated from Linton H.S. and then Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y.where he received  his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and began his practice with his father in Schenectady. He and his wife Rosemary have been married for twenty three years. They have one daughter, Rebecca,  who is currently in her third year at Hobart and William Smith College. Dr.Gold enjoys golf, skiing, biking, occasional hikes in the Adirondacks and time on the beach with his family and friends in South Carolina.
