Case 4: Beautiful Porcelain Crowns and Veneers

Porcelain restorations are not only beautiful but also extremely durable. They can help protect teeth from breaking down from both physical and chemical wear. However, they are far from indestructable so additional treatment and precautions must be taken when people have damaging habits such as tooth grinding or Bulemia. If these habits can be modified or controlled your porcain restorations can last for many years. This young lady had some destructive habits as well as having suffered a traumatic injury to two of her teeth. We created six upper front porcelain crowns to restore and protect her damaged teeth and reestablish her naturally beautiful smile.

Reason for undergoing treatment: The original bonded fillings on her broken front teeth had become dicolored over time. Her bite had changed because of some damaging habits and sensitvity was becoming an issue. She also wanted to brighten up her smile.
