Case 6: Beautiful Porcelain Crowns and Veneers

Not every case is driven by the desire to have a sexy new smile. Often times people simply grow tired of looking at the old, unattractive restorations in their mouth when they look in the mirror every morning. And not infrequently it's guys that come to our office seeking this kind of treatment. This is just that type of case. This gentleman had two unsightly crowns and the adjacent teeth were disproportionately small. Here we used something called Empress crowns to achieve very life like results. Changing the color of his teeth was not one of his goals. He just thought it was time for a change to restorations that were more natural and flattering in appearance.

Reason for undergoing treatment: He wanted to get rid of the dark lines at his gumline and the teeth that looked like Chicklets.
